In 2023, development began on the BioGrow Energy project for Poligrow Colombia, an emissions reduction project located in the municipality of Mapiripán, Meta department, Colombia. This project aims to certify carbon credits through the recovery of methane from wastewater treatment in the palm oil extraction process at a 7,000-hectare plantation in Mapiripán. The resulting biogas will be used for renewable energy generation.
